BDG McColl are appointed as architects, interior designers, and design team leaders for the new £25million Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University’s Easter Bush Campus, which is due for completion in 2010. Designed to house a diverse range of accommodation, including lecture theatres, seminar rooms, teaching laboratories and other practical teaching areas, library, offices for academics and support staff, as well as catering and ancillary facilities for both students and staff, the building will form the centre piece for the development of the campus. According to Professor Elaine Watson, dean of faculty, "When our new teaching and research facilities are in place we will be not just a European leader, but among the best in the world."
