BDG McColl were responsible for the planning and upgrading of Grangemouth town centre for Falkirk District Council. The work comprised the reorganisation of pedestrian flows, re-paving of local streets and squares to provide a good quality pedestrian precinct. Canopies and awnings were installed in principal shopping areas to provide weather protection for shoppers, these being designed to echo Grangemouth’s history and origins of working in cast iron.
BDG McColl’s designers were also responsible for the design of all street furniture, and the associated graphics and signage programme.
