THE NEW DEUTSCHE BANK BUILDING AT CREWE TOLL, EDINBURGH PROVIDES FOR THE COMPANY'S EXPANSION OF FINANCIAL SERVICES OPERATIONS.

DEUTSCHE BANK

EDINBURGH

The building has been planned as flexible floorplates, being designed around two atria to maximise daylighting. Space planning is to BCO standards, and utilises Deutsche Bank's standard 1,800 x 1,800 desk size throughout office areas. The office interior is designed to permit easy relocation of both desking and partitioning should departments be reconfigured.

The building provides 12,000 sq.m. of usable space. In addition to open plan offices, a meeting and training room suite, staff restaurant, high volume print facility, and ancillary support facilities are also included.

The staff restaurant, and meeting and training room suite are each located to the east side of the building allowing users to enjoy views across the adjacent playing fields towards Edinburgh Castle.

The project was completed July 2001 within two years from commission. It was also amongst the shortlisted projects for the British Council for Offices awards 2002.
