Architecture
Our approach to architectural design is to deliver buildings that enhance each client's organisation. We offer architecture and design services from inception to completion, including analysis and brief writing, and site master planning. Where appropriate, the BDG McColl team will include in-house interior designers and space planners to provide clients with fully integrated designs.

Our architectural staff have experience in designing and managing projects up to £350million, and also of fast track design, procurement, and construction projects.

Interior Design
Interior design services can be provided for all building types, in particular for retail, leisure, and office environments, whether these be new construction or refurbishments. Interior designs are developed to reflect the qualities, values, and aspirations of the organisation, and deliver an environment that is pleasing and exciting both to work in and to visit.

We can provide interior design either as a stand alone service, or in conjunction with BDG McColl's space planners and architects to provide a fully integrated property solution that creates an innovative environment that responds to individual client's needs.

Space Planning
BDG McColl's space planners work with clients to not only optimise the use of floorspace, but importantly to create a pleasing working environment. Space planning services are equally available to those looking for new premises, where we can assist in determining the space required, or for those seeking to rationalise or reorganise existing offices. Space plans are developed to suit each organisation's culture, working methods, and storage needs, and are based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of the client's organisation. The design solutions provide efficient and effective use of space, assisting clients in minimising property costs, whilst also improving the efficiency of the working environment.

Space Consultancy
We can provide an independent consultancy service to assist individual client's in assessing their space requirements in conjunction with assisting them in the development of and transition to new working methods. This can include undertaking audits on existing designs and space usage, undertaking workshops across an organisation with staff to assess their desires and needs, to providing an independent view on their appropriateness, efficiency, and effectiveness of the office space proposed.
